The BORA X Pure Rough is BORA’s flagship cooktop-extractor system in its most practical everyday finish. Full surface induction means the entire 830 × 515mm ceramic acts as a cooking zone – up to eight pans can be placed anywhere, including large roasters, with automatic pan detection and even heat distribution. The defining characteristic of the Rough version is its matte glass ceramic surface, which resists fingerprints, streaks and minor scratches far better than the standard high-gloss version, maintaining a clean look with minimal upkeep. Extraction is handled by the iconic recessed air inlet nozzle at the centre of the hob, drawing steam and cooking odours downwards at source and removing the need for an overhead extractor entirely. The Control+ slider panel changes colour with each function – blue for fan speed, red for hob power – making operation immediate and intuitive. BORA JOY app connectivity unlocks Assist functions and guided recipes, and the hob integrates with wider BORA kitchen ecosystems for a fully connected cooking experience.
